All About Me Writing
Hi I’m Maaka, I’m 11 and I am a year 6 at Frankley school. I’m going to tell you a bit about me.
First of all, I like to play Rugby. I play first five for Tukapa and the Frankley inter-school team. First five is the first receiver from the ruck and scrum, a First Five also has to call all the plays out to the backs to break the opposition's defensive line.
I used to live in Christchurch with my parents and my siblings. I lived in Christchurch for about 6 ½ years, we moved in 2009 when I was 4. But now I live in New Plymouth. If you are wondering if I was in any earthquakes, I was. My parents and I were all in the 2010 and 2011 earthquake and luckily none of us got hurt. I have 2 brothers named Te Arei and Kairangi. Kai was born on October 26th 2011 which means he just missed the 2011 earthquake and Te Arei was born on May 8th 2015.
I used to go to Avonhead school in Christchurch. Before I went to Avonhead I went to Annabells Educare and I was one of the first kid to leave because it had opened the year I got there. At Avonhead I went through 5 classes before I left to come back to Taranaki.
I like to play pretty much all sports, my favourites are Rugby, Basketball, Cricket and Soccer. I like a lot more sports but those are just a few of them.
Well that is pretty much all there is to know about me.
