My WIT Innovative Product

SLC with my parents

On Thursday the 22nd of October I had a SLC with my parents, I showed them my Writing, Spelling, My IKAN goal, Handwriting, My Seaworld summary, My WIT Booklet and My Frankie the Duck questions. I thought I did Okay considering my mum and dad were very proud of me. I probably could of described more about my work but it was fine. Next time I will try make my SLC better by adding more work into my SLC sheet

Today I found out how to use a new Web Tool called Thinglink.  I created a google drawing first and then used this programme to add more information.  Just hover over the image to find out more.

The Forest

Corbin, Josh and I were playing with a ball at my house, until Josh accidentally kicked the ball into the Forest that grew next to our house “Whoops, I’ll get it” Josh said politely

“Josh do not go in there!” I shouted

“Why not?” Josh Asked

“I heard the last person that went in there never came back” I shrugged

“but what about your ball didn’t it cost a lot of money” Josh said

“Yes but I get a new one” I said

“Let’s go in!” Corbin said frantically

“Fine then we can go in, But first we need some supplies if we are going to go in there”

We went inside and got supplies like torches, food, water, knives, shovels and a few backpacks. As we set off into the Forest we saw my ball and swiftly grabbed it but we didn’t want to go back we wanted to go further in and explore more of the forest.

As we walked deeper into the forest the ghostly voices we heard got louder. It started to get dark so we decided to head back home, But when we turned around we didn’t know where we came from, We were lost. “Josh I told you this was a bad idea” I said

“It’s not my fault” Josh shouted

“It kind of is Josh, you kicked it in here” Corbin shrugged

“Well I don’t have a good aim” Josh claimed

“Yes you do, in fact you’re the best in the team” Corbin said dramatically

“Yeah totally” I said sarcastically.  We looked to find the sun but the sun had already set and we were 100% lost.

We ran around to find an exit but we couldn’t find a crumb. “Maybe we should look for some shelter” Corbin said with a terrified look on his face.

We finally found a place to stay for the terrifying night ahead of us. when we woke up it was morning and we were starving because we had eaten all of our food and and our refreshments we had to look for some food. “I’m starving I need food or I’ll go rotten” corbin groaned

“No you won’t” I said.  We set off to look for a meal, we searched the perimeter but found nothing until we heard a ‘Crunch’ we all looked down there were no broken sticks or twigs under our feet, we started to worry what was in there, is it going to hurt us. We heard footsteps getting closer and closer, We instantly dived behind a tree. Once the mysterious creature came around the corner I looked around the tree and saw…

It was my mum she came to look for us I ran up to her “Mum!!” I shouted

“Maaka!! I was so worried about you boys” Mum said

“We were lost in the woods” Josh shouted

“We are so glad you’re here” Corbin said

“I am too, It took me ages to find you” Mum said. At the end of the day all was well and everyone was at home safe except for Corbin he damaged his arm in The Forest

My 2nd winning Boom Writer Adventure Story Chapter 3

Royce finally woke up and he felt fine, but once he got up it all kicked back in.  He felt his pain like an eagle was pecking him at light speed.  He thought to himself maybe if he had some food and a drink he would feel better. After breakfast he still didn't feel one hundred percent so he rang the local doctors for an urgent appointment. Obviously he couldn't drive so he got his sister to drive him.

 By the time he got to the doctors, Royce's sickness was even worse.  He felt lethargic, couldn't feel his stomach and he had a severe headache, it was horrible.  Unfortunately the doctor, Doctor Strife, took so long because when he came out Royce was in the middle of a deep dream. When Royce woke up he was back at his house,  The doctor must have checked him while he was getting some shut-eye.

Royce asked his sister, Greta "What illness do I have?"
"Dizzyniphobea" Greta answered.
"Is it rare?" Royce questioned.
"Very," replied Greta.
"Is there a cure?" Royce asked curiously.
"Yes this medicine called Olphadonista? It will help a lot but for now just relax and watch TV while I get you your medicine."
Royce was watching a show named 'Tom and Jerry' which he thought was a crack up. Greta came into the room carrying Royce's medicine and said, "Looks like someone's in a good mood" as she gave him his medicine "EWW its disgusting!" Royce cried
"Do you need a drink?" Greta asked
"Yes and quick please!"

One week of disgusting medicine later...

"Ahh I feel a great deal better I could drink that every day" yelled Royce.
"Okay I'll go buy some more" said Greta.
"NO!" screeched Royce.   "NO more! It is disgusting, I hate it!"
"Okay then I won't"
"Thank goodness" exclaimed Royce.

"Well I'm glad this horrible experience is now behind us. It makes us appreciate how being healthy is so important and how lucky we are that others are willing to help.   What are you thankful for buddy?"
"I am thankful for the family who saved my life, Cody and Mindy Watson."

How To Save Someone From Drowning

Step 1: Call for help.  If you see someone drowning don’t just stand there, call for help loud and clearly before you attempt to save them.

Step 2: Find something close that floats like a ball or a lunchbox to keep them buoyant (stay afloat)

Step 3: Tell them to lie on their back and kick their legs to help you get them to safe ground.

My winning Boom-writer Adventure Story

As he started walking down he felt dizzy, the world was spinning and his vision was getting weaker and weaker until his eyes closed and he fell to the ground. 

Two hours later... He finally woke up he was in a house but whose house? As he thought to himself where he could be he heard a noise as someone was coming home. He looked around and saw a slight movement the slight movement saw him look and slowly walked over the movement turned out to be a human (luckily) He said "Where am I?" 
and the lady said "we saw you fall over so we took you back here to be safe 
"Oh okay then. So where is my stuff?" Royce said.
"Don't worry my husband has them" the lady said.
"Okay" said Royce "I should probably be going now".
"Then just go see my husband." 
So Royce went to her husband and grabbed his bag and left but he needed a ride so he walked back inside to see if he could catch a lift.

When Royce made it home he started feeling his sickness like he had on the mountain he quickly walked inside and his head felt faint and his body was limp. While he walked to his bed the pains got worse he couldn't walk so he dived into his bed and got under the covers and within a blink of a eye he was in a deep slumber.
